RAMSES?
WHO ARE YOU,

And now I understand what he brought me here to learn, I am ready to share the knowledge with you.
Finally I am back in Egypt. I was here in March, too, but that was an entirely different journey, taking me to the most amazing and beautiful places, where I also met one amazing and beautiful soul. Now I am on a serious tour of places I feel I was rushed through before. This time drivers, but no guides. Except for spontaneous ones who just feel right when they appear.
One such is a Turkish woman in a funky hat and uniform, whom I immediately take to, and although I have seen Karnak three times now, I decide to accept her services. Her name is Eleanor, and the most interesting thing she tells me is that she not only shares the same birthday as Ramses, October 22nd, but that she considers him her Life Guide.
Her Guru, as it were.
Around this site with her, and the other one at Luxor temple, I gaze at Ramses with new eyes. Really, a Guru? A guide? Thought you would be too busy for all that stuff…you mean you have time for little me?
At Luxor I have a coffee with him, contemplating him. He eyes me with a look like...I would quite like a coffee too! Dude, you are welcome anytime. And soon I have booked a room down in Abu Simbel again, for two nights, a different hotel, let’s see what you have to tell me here, oh great Ramses! I stand at his feet, back at Abu Simbel, gazing up at him. Wow, he’s big! He is sitting down comfortably too, all four of him, as I would if I planned on being there for millennia…
I am drinking coffee again; I raise a cup to him. “Okay, Ramses. What have you brought me here to show me?” Passing tourists probably think I’m nuts, standing and chatting to him. But when you look as I do, they think that anyway, so it’s no problem.
“Go inside and look around, take your time, and everything will slowly become clear…” he replies.
So I do. And I explore the entire temple, every room, for two days, four hours each day, reading his story clearly visible on the walls inside. And in that time he, Ramses the Great, tells me everything I need to know…
After all, a guide. A great Guru. One of the best, for he teaches me how to use to my best ability everything I have learned of meditation, healing, and the occult in the quite a few years I have been on this planet.
