BOOKS
I am Diana Wilde, the author of this cacophony of organised chaos...
A little bit about me…I love to travel, and I love to write. I love exotic people and places, new vistas, smells, and tastes. I love getting on an aeroplane (except for taking off my shoes, catheters, and internal organs and placing them in the appropriate trays, and trying to make my fingerprints appear on the scanners) and getting off at the other end not knowing a soul, or very much about my destination, except that I just HAVE to go there!
I love writing. When in doubt, write. Most of all I love a positive attitude to life. My travels and my books often go together, one perpetuating the other. Currently, I have several books pertaining to Egypt and the Middle East in progress, and several journeys to these places, both already accomplished and in the pipeline. A series of books will be coming from these journeys; some are in progress.
There are also two fantasy novels that are set in various parts of both ancient and modern Egypt and modern-day London. These are, Zefir and The Pharaohs, parts one and two of my Pyramids of Passion series. These are available on Amazon and links are given. Part three of this series is more than halfway complete. I have other books in this vein but in different times and places. This group of books comes under the label of m/m homoerotic fantasy fiction. I like this genre because it appeals to my child-free, wandering soul. All finished, published books are available on Amazon via the links.
I have written already one quite long book about my own learning of Indian meditation in a traumatic and challenging manner, called Guru Games, also published on Amazon. This is autobiographical, as its follow-ups will be. There is also my ongoing-since-teenage years' fascination with Lawrence of Arabia, and the hefty tome which is being prepared regarding that will probably take another year, and at least another trip to Saudi Arabia, to complete.
Follow the links and you will also see my author page and be able to choose any books you like the look of through the Amazon system. One of people’s favourite of my books is my autobiographical (and true) account of my adventures in the early seventies with various rock bands; this is also on Amazon, and entitled The Glam Rock Files.
